Wairua Music Video Part 2

Wairua Music Video

This term we have been practising a song and dance for the song Wairua.
We have finished all our filming for the video and our audio, now we just have to edit it together.
We had to wear black and white outfits and it was really fun to film but a bit scary.

Here are some photos of rehearsals

What are we learning? We are learning how to film a music video, dance, and sing to a Maori song for Matariki.

What am I finding challenging? Being in front of the camera.

What do I need so the class can be successful? To try even when it gets a bit difficult or if I don't want to be on camera.

In music term 2 we have been practising the song Wairua for our Matariki group performance.
We will be making a music video and we will all be wearing black and white outfits.

Here are some photos of us practising

What are we learning? We are learning how to film a music video, dance, and sing to a Maori song for Matariki.

What am I finding challenging? I am finding a bit of the choreography a bit difficult to learn.

What do I need so the class can be successful? I need to always bring my black and white clothes so that we can get the music video done faster.

How does this work show my learning: Because in the slideshow I have said multiple facts and things about this musician.

What am I wondering: I am wondering if she is good friends with any other New Zealand singer?

Music Video (Bad vs Good)

Music Video
Good vs Bad

I really like this song because the artist that is singing has a really pretty and strong voice.
I like the style of the song and the way the song is set out.
The beat of the song is really pretty.
I like the lyrics in the song.
I think the song is about someone she like and that he has blue eyes and she cant stop starring at them.
I think the style of the song is pop.
I would include more shots of different things cause all the same shot can make it a bit boring

I don't really like this song because it sounds really cheesy.
I don't like the lyrics to the song.
I don't like that his voice sounds like auto tune.
I think this song is about a girl he likes and that he wants to date her.
I think the style of this song is pop.
I wouldn't add as much auto tune into the song as he did.

What am I learning?
How to use videosnote and note the things we do and don't like about songs.

How does this work show our learning?
Because I have explained what I like and don't like about songs and I wrote them down on videonotes then posted it on my blog

What am I wondering?
What are other peoples different opinions on these songs or other songs
