Art Magazine Design
Magazine Design
Today in art we have been working on our magazine page design. We have used our thumbnail sketches we drew to make a layout of how our work is going to look. My group's theme is where you are from. We used the word Haukainga meaning home as our title. We came up with two magazine design (not finished) the first picture is what colours and how we want it to layout and the second picture is the original magazine page we created (also not finished) that we were going to use but we want to try something new.
Does your design reflect your thumbnail sketches?
Yes because we have used very similar layouts to what we had drawn. We changed it around a little only so it would suit our theme more.
Does your design reflect the feeling of your topic?
Yes, I think our original design does because it shows lots of different place with the flags we used. We live in NZ and to my group that is home but not everyone lives in NZ so we wanted to make where everyone comes from.
Do you know where your leading lines are?
Not yet because we haven't finished but we are planning on putting our leading lines in soon.
Do you know where your focal point is?
Yes, for now, it is the title because we like the meaning of it and we want it to stand out, but we could change our minds when it's finished.
