What am I learning: To find facts about a New Zealand musician that I didn't really know about.

How does this work show my learning: Because in the slideshow I have said multiple facts and things about this musician.

What am I wondering: I am wondering if she is good friends with any other New Zealand singer?

New Zealand Government

New Zealand Government

New Zealand is a democratic country, which the Members Of Parliament are chosen in free and fair elections. People over the age of 18 that live/from New Zealand are enrolled to vote. Voting is not compulsory. Once every 3 years and two months, New Zealand holds elections for voting. This voting system ensures the protection of human rights. We use MNP to vote in New Zealand and for the Members Of Parliament. This is what a democratic country will be like.

I Wonder Why...

I wonder how many different countries have national dances and the meaning behind them.
Most countries have their own dances but other countries use their style to dance.

Cuba: Salsa
Russia: Ballet
United States: Contemporary
Ireland: Irish Dancing

The difference between all these dances if they have different meanings and styles between them all.

Ballet was first invented in Italy for a royal wedding. Ballet is a more romantic style of dance and is a classical style too.

Salsa has different styles to it such as New York style, Cuban and Miami style, Puerto Rican style etc.
Salsa is a form of social dance and originated in the Caribbean.

Contemporary dance is an expressive dance that combines different dance genres such as jazz, lyrical, and classical ballet. They strive to connect the mind and body through fluid dance movements.

Irish Dancing is a style of an old dance which originated from the western region of Ireland. It is more of a regional style of step dancing.

I wonder how tall is the tallest diving board someone jumped off?

Dana Kunze is an eight-time winning high diving champion set the current world record of 172 feet in 1983 at Sea World San Diego. It was his seventh world record.

172 feet is the same as 52.42 meters.

Dana Kunze started his high diving career in 1974 at the age of 13.
He won his first champion in 1977 and kept his winning streak for seven years.
He now has a company that is to produce high diving shows.

In 2015 the current Cliff Jumping record is 193 feet (58.8 meters) set by Laso Schaller but is not qualified as a high dive.

Curiosity

I wonder if it's ever possible to live on another planet?
If it had the same atmosphere yes it would be.

Out of all the planets, mar's is the most like earth.
The best place to live on besides Earth would be Venus or Mars.
