A vegetable peeler, why do we use one, how does it make life easier?

A Vegetable Peeler is a kitchen tool with a metal/steel blade and a handle. It is used to remove skins and peels of fruits and veggies. The peeler blade normally has a slot, one side that is sharp to peel the skins/peels and one side to stop the blade going into the food as you peel. If you use a blunt Vegetable Peeler it can be very dangerous as they slip more than a sharp blade would. The peeler blade can cut through the skins of carrot, cucumber, apples, mango, potatoes, kiwi fruit, pears and a lot more.

 Alfred Neweczerzal was the inventor of the Vegetable peeler. He made the veggie peeler in 1947 when he was 48 years of age. He died at age 60, 14 years after he invented the peeler. He invented the peeler in Switzerland. He was born in the year 1899 and died in the year 1959.

 There is more than one type of veggie peeler. There is the Euro Peeler. It is a sleek and stylish design that makes peeling fruits and vegetables simple. The Euro Peeler features a swivel head blade constructed of tough, rust-resistant steel. The peeler handle provides a sure, comfortable grip. Then there is the Y peeler is in the shape of a y and is a can go through the toughest of all fruits and veggie skins with ease and has a really good handle grip. It has a wider handle which is better than thinner handles and has more of an easier grip and doesn't slip even when your hands are wet. And there is the Swivel Peeler kinda looks like an Euro peeler but can go through tough skins and doesn't waste and of the fruit and veggies and is very sharp.

 Vegetable peelers make life easier then using a knife to cut peels. The veggie peeler is a lot quicker then using a knife and a lot safer meaning you won't get cut as much as if you use a knife. When you use a knife it cuts out all the good vitamins right under the skins and a peeler only cuts the skins not the vitamins. If you’re in a rush and you needed to prepare dinner it doesn't take up much time and it's not that big of a mess.
