Reflection 5 practical outcomes (term1)

5 practical outcomes:

Spag bol, Pasta with tomato sauce, breakfast muffins, grilled beef kofta, chicken curry.

Teamwork: I think my team worked really well together because we all knew everyone's strong and weak points so we could help each other. There were a few hiccups along the way but solved them and came out as a strong team. I think it worked better with just 4 people, not 5.

Measuring:
The measuring with these recipes was easy because it's not like baking and doesn't have to be exact and you can change them if you have fewer people or more people.

Different types of measurements:
tsp: teaspoon
C: Cup
Tbsp: Tablespoon

Spag bol:

What I liked: I liked that it was easy to make but taught us how to make something that you could make for your whole family.

What would I change: Add cheese on top next time.

Final thoughts: I thought this was a really fun practical.

Pasta with tomato sauce:

What I liked: I liked that all the team enjoyed making this one and it was fun to make.

What would I change: I would add less sauce because it was quite powerful.

Final thoughts: Was a great practical and I would do it again.

Breakfast muffins:

What I liked: I liked that it was kinda like we were baking, because baking is fun.

What would I change: I wouldn't change anything.

Final thoughts: Was fun and we all had a good day

Beef kofta:

What I liked: I liked that this was different from all the over practicals and it was something I had never made before.

What would I change: I would change the sticks because they got really hot and couldn't hold it.

Final thoughts: Was one of my favourites because it was different.

Chicken curry:

What I liked: I liked that all our team members had something to do.

What would I change: I would make the recipe a bit less confusing and the rice was a bit overcooked.

Final thoughts: Wasn't one of my favourites but was still fun to make.

The final outcome for term 1:
At the start it was a bit confusing because it was new but once we got used to everything it was really enjoyable.
