Art Week 5
For panel one, I still need more images to collect for my board. Over time I have been collecting images although some images don't fit on my board as well as I wanted. I have made a plan on paper of what images I still want to collect and I also started planning images for what I will have for boards 2 and 3. I also started planning on how I could connect these images to each board and how I will create them to work together well with my theme of changes throughout the years
Lesson 2: I watched a video on double exposure and learned how I can create a double exposure in my images. I think this is something I still need to work on as I don't think I executed the final result correctly. Trying to get the edges smooth and not too sharp is something I struggled with the most. Especially in my images, as there is different lighting and contrast in my images which made it difficult to select all the outside space in my image.
Lesson 3:
My Kaupapa is changes throughout the years.
What is working well? Linking my photographs back to my artist models is working well and executing their style.
What needs to be developed for my panel 1?
Learning to link my photographs together better rather than having them look like random series on my board.
Any artists or techniques I could use?
Using the black and white technique would be good for my theme. Contrasts and using different lighting to show my theme better.
