Wairua Music Video

This term we have been practising a song and dance for the song Wairua.
We have finished all our filming for the video and our audio, now we just have to edit it together.
We had to wear black and white outfits and it was really fun to film but a bit scary.

What are we learning? We are learning how to film a music video, dance, and sing to a Maori song for Matariki.

What am I finding challenging? Being in front of the camera.

What do I need so the class can be successful? To try even when it gets a bit difficult or if I don't want to be on camera.

I Wonder

I wonder who is the person that lived the longest?

Jeanne Calment who lived till the age of 122 years and 164 days.
She was born in Arles France 1875-1997.
She died 4 August in Arles France.

During her lifespan, she had 1 child named Yvonne Calment.
She was born in 1889 and died in 1934 at the age of 55

Jeanne's partner and Yvonne's father was named Fernand Calment and died in 1942.

My Dictator

A Dictator

I think that the characteristics of a dictator mostly have are strict, powerful, self-centred, controlling and mean. When Adolf Hitler was a dictator he has these traits. He thought he could control anything and anyone so he sent Jews to concentration camps all over Germany hoping they were going to die. 6 million/more were killed. I think sometimes being a dictator you can be cruel and I wouldn't want to be a dictator.

In music term 2 we have been practising the song Wairua for our Matariki group performance.

We will be making a music video and we will all be wearing black and white outfits.

What am I finding challenging? I am finding a bit of the choreography a bit difficult to learn.

What do I need so the class can be successful? I need to always bring my black and white clothes so that we can get the music video done faster.

Action: What happens. The school got set on fire, the pigs houses got blown down
Role: Who/the characters, Cinderella, the 3 little pigs

Tension: Suspense/the problem, will they be able to move the boulder from the garage?
