In art (design) we have been looking at different portfolios and talking about the connections between them. In the first part we can see them looking at different logos relating to a movie poster. They have used colours such as blue, black and white on their logos. Under that they have used the word Tiff. They have been using different fonts and played around with connecting the font to the movie design. Using the same blue, black and white colours and font they have used to create a ticket design. They also have used the same idea and added it to a shirt. On the other side they have created posters. They have stuck to the use of colours and fonts to create their poster designs. At the bottom is their main design with a red camera in the middle of the poster. This relates to the red film logo on the other side. They have used colours and fonts to relate each idea to one another.
Kia ora Alayna, This is a good summary of what you see. Can you see that for each mini brief there is concept sketches or images, followed by developments of a select number of what was most successful from these concepts, and then, followed by refining one or two of these further into a final design? If that is not clear, please zoom up and note it, because it is how you are going to be working on your folio too. It is essentially the design process in the front of your field notes book.
